FAQ · Value and ROI

Is a buyers agent worth it for a first home buyer?

At certain price points, absolutely.

First home buyers who are constrained by budget might not get their return on investment. We service purchases of $850,000 and over for freestanding homes. Underneath this, there are only a small portion of properties available. A lot of our value comes from our ability to select and reject properties, which is impossible when only a small number of properties are available.

In these cases, it’s more important to get into the market and grow your nest egg. If this first home buyer had another challenge — like not having enough time, or being out of area — then yes, it’s worth it.

Otherwise, we’d encourage them to try themselves, or look at one of our lighter options. You can also look at the resources on our website to begin your property education (or reach out — if we have time, we’ll share what we can!).

We absolutely love helping first home buyers who are in higher price brackets. We can deliver on our promises, and we get to make a huge difference for young people.
