We’ll order one from an inspector we’ve pre-vetted on your behalf, if there’s no existing inspection, or if we suspect the existing one is ‘vendor-favouring’. This means there’s a chance certain risks were brushed over or understated, and we want the right information to make informed decisions.
We’ll only order a second opinion if we’re confident we’re going to buy the property, to minimise expenses. Reports are paid for by the buyer.
