FAQ · The buyers agency agreement

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes. In order for a buyers agent to work on your behalf, they must have a signed agreement. It’s important to protect their time and ensures their insurances are in effect. The exclusivity means you can only work with one agent for one particular brief.

The contract sets out the services, the fee, the engagement period, the search area and the property criteria. Read it properly before signing, and ask about anything that isn’t clear.
